President, AshBritt Management and Logistics
Gerardo Castillo is the President of AshBritt Management and Logistics (AMBL), a government solutions provider specializing in emergency management and disaster response. Gerardo joined AshBritt in 2018 in support of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers wildfire mission in northern California. In 2019, AshBritt named Gerardo President of ABML to build and lead the expansion of AshBritt’s government support solutions division.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, ABML managered operations in 20 states, administering almost 2 million vaccines, 500,000 monoclonal antibodies, and running turnkey field hospitals; ABML was also the logistics partner on the FEMA national vaccination contract. ABML actively supports HUD-funded CDBG-DR housing repair and reconstruction programs. Gerardo has also been a critical member of active operations on many missions, including the Arizona border security project, the PG&E Camp Fire in Paradise, CA, Hurricane Ian in Southwest Florida, and Hurricane Harvey in Houston, TX. Since leading the division, ABML generated over $1 billion in revenue.
Prior to joining AshBritt, Gerardo spent 15 years working in government and in the logistics and transportation sector. Gerardo has a Master of Public Administration from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas and a B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin. Gerardo is an avid triathlete and runner, having completed three 140.3 Ironmans and over 30 marathons, finishing the Boston Marathon twice. Gerardo loves being a husband, father to two toddlers, and cheering on his Texas Longhorns. Hook’em Horns!
